I Wanna be a Mage - GameJam Report

Pre Game-Jam Discussions:

• Discussion between the Game Designer and the rest of the content generation team took place.
• The Brainstorming session of the production phase included the Game Designer explaining the team about the basic storyline of the game.
• The content generation team was tasked with creating digital blueprints and assisting in refining it for ease in the development process.

Active Game-Jam Discussions:

• While the Game Designer was under constant communication with the Creative Content Generation team , the tasks which were discussed pre game jam time were put into execution.
• The Narration and the Storyline were first completed as per the basis of the jam limitations.
• A sketch of the world design was provided to the content generation team and they were tasked to create a digital blueprint of the same and were given some targets in the map to add their inputs to the same.
• The digital blueprints created by the content generation team assisted the Game Designer in the Level and World Design process.
• The decided game was given the name “I Wanna be a Mage” during this period.
• The content generation team was tasked with the quest to create dialogues for the Npc’s in the refugee area and to create content for the socials which even include the trailer of the game.
• The Game Designer constantly worked over the Level Design , World Design and the Narration to put Life into the game.

Post Game Production:

• This report was created in the post game production phase.
• The game is under testing phase to test for bugs that might affect player’s experience.
• The game shall receive updates in the future where possible major updates might include  Voice Over and addition of new Cutscenes.
• The release of the game is now being showcased on social channels.
• Nuvi feels extremely happy , now that she has her own magical force<3
